Initial  F™ Lapidus

The  Inital F™ Lapidus single use kit is intended for arthrodeses, fracture and osteotomies fixation and revision surgeries of the foot in adults.
The  Inital F™ kit comes pre-sterilized with a shelf life of 5 years and are ready to use. The single use instruments and implants in single packaging makes the kit ideal for urgent surgical cases.

​Fixation:

• Single screw diameter:  Ø3.5 mm, both locking and non locking available.
• The threads below the screw head and inside the hole have exactly the same characteristics. Coaptation of both profiles during locking improves removal properties.

​Implants:

• A low profile plate of 1,7mm thick , limits the amount of soft tissue irritation while providing optimized mechanical stability.
• A range of precontoured plates for optimized congruence between the plate and the bone.
• Available with three Planter Lapidus Arthrodesis plates, available in both left and right versions: Size 0 (length 37mm), Size 1 (length: 42mm), Size 2 (length 50mm).
