Extremity Medical are developing next generation products to address the challenging needs of surgeons specific to treating the distal extremities, including the hand, wrist, foot, and ankle. They are focused on identifying unmet needs and developing unique solutions for fusion, fixation and motion preserving systems for the upper and lower extremities.

The Extremity Medical IO-FIX IntraOsseseous Fixation Device is intended for the reduction and internal fixation of arthrodesis, osteotomy, intra-articular and extra-articular fractures and nonunions of the small bones and joints of the foot & ankle. 

The IOFIX TRIO is the newest addition to the IOFIX range and has been designed as a calcaneal osteotomy plate.

• Stability 

1. TRIO utilises hte IOFIX Morse Taper Lock Technology with two 5.0mm Compression screws
2. Gives uniform compression across the osteotomy
