Arthroscopic or Open Transosseous Rotator Cuff Repair
A Transosseous Tunnel Surgical Instrument
The Taylor Stitcher is designed for rotator cuff repair by using a transosseous approach. It is applicable with both mini-open and arthroscopic surgical technique
The transosseous tunnel is created with a calibrated hammer. It is specifically designed to protect the cortical support area and allow the advancement of the needle, which creates a curved transverse tunnel (or more than one) quickly and with a predetermined exit point.
In a single step the STN (1.9mm in diameter) needle can create the transosseous tunnel and passes the suture.
The buttonhole at the tip allows a shuttle wire or high-strength wire in the transosseous tunnel
The supplied needle is single patient, sterile and ready to use
Various configurations are possible; parallel tunnels and multiple exits all from the same lateral entry hole
