Artelon - Tissue Reinforcement
Lavender Medical has partnered with Artimplant to distribute Artelon® reinforcement products. Artelon® reinforcement products are based on elastic Artelon® fibers and are intended to strengthen weak or repaired soft tissue.
Artelon® is a unique, degradable biomaterial that serves as a scaffold for tissue ingrowth and provides temporary support for healing tissue.
Artelon® was developed specifically for medical applications and has clinical documentation with long follow-up periods. Thousands of patients worldwide have been successfully treated with Artelon® implants.

Serves as a temporary scaffold for the body’s own cells while it degrades and integrates with the body over a six year period
Stabilizes and relieves load during the healing period – long term support for healing tissue
The Artelon® fiber retains about 50% of the tensile strength after 4 years.
