Lavender Medical Ltd as UK distributor for litos/ (Lab for development and production of Implants for Traumatology and Orthopaedics plus Special implants) are delighted to offer, a Custom Made Implant Service for Trauma and Limb Reconstruction. Implants are delivered within 72 hours of the implant design being approved by the operating surgeon.

 

This quick turnaround can be achieved as a result of dedicated production facilities as well as a team of doctors, engineers and technicians specialised in internal fixation which work together to design and finalise the custom implant.

 

In most cases the following would be required:

 

Scaled X-ray of the injured bone (2 planes) preferably digitised

 

Scaled X-ray of the contralateral side preferably digitised

 

A brief overview of the clinical requirements

 

CT reconstruction, if available

 

The scale is essential in order to optimise the implant to match the anatomy.

 

Intra-operative technical support is provided by highly experienced members of the Lavender Medical team, if required.
